Asheen Phansey, a Babson College professor was fired for satirizing the Trump administration’s threat to bomb Iranian cultural sites. In Pansy’s post on his personal Facebook page, he wrote that the ayatollah Khomenei should tweet a list of American cultural sites that should be bombed. Babson college released a statement that Phansey’s post did not represent the values and culture of Babson college. I do not agree with Phansey’s position at all and I find them subversive.

However, the comments he made were on his personal Facebook page and he has his right of freedom of speech and were absolutely not a representation of abandons college’s values and culture. We have to get out of this culture of silencing people because their opinion does not agree with yours. Why? Because your opinion will be silenced as well. This issue destroys our democracy as the flow of ideas and options will be gone. We discuss this live this Tuesday on Davin’s Den. 6:30 to 9:30 pm Est .
