Let’s cut the Bullshit! – Joe Currie – (Davin’s Den)

As most of the people know who listen to our show I am the Right Wing side of Davin’s Den.
 
When the Trayvon Martin verdict was handed down people started yelling racism and injustice. The president even came out and said he could have been Trayvon at that age. Funny Mr. President were you bashing a Hispanic man’s skull against a side walk at that age?
 
Here is the deal, yes George Zimmerman is an asshole and Trayvon Martin is far from the angel that he was portrayed as being. The fact remains that from the testimony and evidence given there was a reasonable doubt that Zimmerman was guilty end of story and justice was served.
 
As for racism, people will say, well he was targeted for wearing a hoodie and he was profiled. Well where could have Zimmerman gotten that impression from?
 
Day in and day out we see on the news or on the Internet closed circuit camera footage of thugs in hoodies committing crimes.  In the Police blotter section of the paper every day they show pictures of thugs in hoodies committing crimes. In the crime stoppers paper that you pick up as you exit the supermarket they show thugs in hoodies committing crimes, and yet no acknowledgement or accountability from the black community that this is the leading factor of profiling.
 
You may think I am a racist but I am not, I am a realist and any time something like this is brought up your Al Sharptons and Jessie Jackson’s will never address this because it they make their living on race baiting and not trying to change perceptions that effect their community. In some instances they might even be called an Uncle Tom for doing so.
 
There has been a lot of frustration from this verdict and the president’s comments on this added fuel to the fire.

It was Bill O’Reilly hitting the nail on the head and saying it is finally time for some straight talk.

It was wrong for Zimmerman to confront Martin based on his appearance. But the culture that we have in this country does lead to criminal profiling because young black American men are so often involved in crime, the statistics overwhelming.
Young black men commit homicides at a rate 10 times greater than whites and Hispanics combined. When presented with damning evidence like that, and like the mini-holocaust in Chicago where hundreds of African-Americans are murdered each year the civil rights industry looks the other way or makes excuses. They blame guns, poor education, lack of jobs, rarely do they define the problem accurately. So here it is. The reason there is so much violence and chaos in the black precincts is the disintegration of the African-American family.
Right now about 73 percent of all black babies are born out of wedlock. That drives poverty. And the lack of involved fathers leads to young boys growing up resentful and unsupervised. When was the last time you saw a public service ad telling young black girls to avoid becoming pregnant? Has President Obama done such an ad? How about Jackson or Sharpton? Has the Congressional Black Caucus demanded an ad like that? How about the PC pundits who work for NBC News?
raised without much structure, young black men often reject education and gravitate towards the street culture, drugs, hustling, gangs. the entertainment industry encourages the irresponsibility by marketing a gangster culture, hip hop, movies, trashy TV shows to impressionable children. In fact, President Obama has welcomed some of the worst offenders in that cesspool to the White House when he should be condemning what these weasels are doing. These so-called entertainers get rich while the kids who emulate their lyrics and attitude destroy themselves.
And then there is the drug situation. Go to Detroit and ask anyone living on the south side of the eight-mile road what destroyed their city? They will tell you narcotics. They know addiction leads to crime and debasement. But what do the race hustlers and limousine liberals yell about? The number of black men in prison for selling drugs. Oh, it’s so unfair. It’s a nonviolent crime and blacks are targeted. That is one of the biggest lies in the history of this country.
The thugs who sell hard drugs, no matter what color they are, deserve to be put away for long periods
When was the last time you heard the Congressional Black Caucus say that? How about Jackson and Sharpton? How about President Obama?
The solution to the epidemic of violent crime in poor black neighborhoods is to actively discourage pregnancies out of marriage, to impose strict discipline in the public schools, including mandatory student uniforms, and to create a zero tolerance policy for gun and drug crimes imposing harsh mandatory prison time on the offenders.
And finally, challenging the entertainment industry to stop peddling garbage. Hey listen up you greed heads, if a kid can’t speak proper English, uses the “f” word in every sentence, it’s disgraceful, it’s disrespectful — it’s disrespectful in his or her manner. That child will never, never be able to compete in the marketplace of America… never. And it has nothing to do with slavery. It has everything to do with you Hollywood people and you derelict parents. You’re the ones hurting these vulnerable children.

Most likely nothing will get done because we are now in a climate of no accountability, nothing is ever any bodies fault and there is no accountability, blame the Rebel Rousers and Liberals for this.
 
In my opinion Liberals are generally educated and open mined, with that mindset anything no matter how bluntly true that might be seen as racist or not progressive will be shouted down. Because as a Liberal forward thinking and tolerance is the norm no matter what the cost, consequences or lack of common sense is. As for rebel rousers you have seen my comments above.
 
The Problems above and all the problems we face as a nation white, black Hispanic whatever are due to political correctness and tolerance and not accepting accountability.
 
The politicians, community activists, and the Left wing and Right wing media (Mr. O’Reilly included on occasion) have a field day dividing us.
 
I even address this in my act, I say that we are not working together and we have to remember it’s us, that’s the name of the country the U.S and if we don’t start working as us there wont be a U.S any more.
 
We need to address our problems and put common sense and accountability in front of sensitivity, we need to be tough with our kids in school and stop worrying if their feelings are hurt or being bullied or not winning at a sport.
 
We need to teach them to work harder and if they are bullied to fight back.
 
We need to speak one language, English it builds unity and promotes assimilation.
 
When my ancestors came here they didn’t insist people speak Italian or with a Scottish brogue they learned the language and insisted their children did.
 
You may be reading this saying I am out of touch, I am a racist or a typical Right Winger.
 
Well when you look into your grand child’s eyes and have to tell them ours was the first generation that failed how will you feel then???
 
Let’s cut the bullshit and make all the great generations that came before us proud.
